She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Matthew Edwards and Clara Bell Jackson Edwards; and her husbands, Charles T. Darden and Larry C. Jernigan. She is survived by: her children, Gerald T. Darden (Anne), Harvey Mitchell Darden (Janet), Sharon D. Clark (Kenneth) and Janet D. Warren (Curtis). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and many loving great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Harnett Devotional Gardens (5665 Fairground Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
