She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Columbus and Dorothy Matthews Gregory; her son Jimmy Ray Johnson; her siblings, Buddy Gregory, Cecil Gregory, Donnie Gregory and Hazel Matthews; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Gregory and Billy McLamb.
She is survived by: her son Greogry Johnson (Kimberly) of Rockwell, NC; her grandson William Gregory Johnson (Lyndsay) of Faith, NC; her great grandchildren, Miller Ann and Merritt Lynn Johnson of Faith, NC; her sister Karen McLamb of Murfreesboro, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Marshall Matthews of Erwin, NC and Sophia Gregory of Buies Creek, NC.
Before her battle with Alzheimer's, she enjoyed her "slice of heaven" at the coast, dancing, gardening, reading, shopping and sightseeing.
