He is survived by: his wife Doris; his son Scott (Margaret) of Dunn; his granddaughters, Meredith Pope Smith (Sean) of Roseboro, Madelyn Pope Faircloth (Connor) of Dunn and Mackenzie McLamb Register (Cole) of Dunn; his great grandchildren, Avery and Emily Smith of Roseboro; his son-in-law Billy McLamb of Dunn; and his sister Dorothy Jean Barefoot of Dunn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
