She is survived by: her children, Harold (Lisa Sasser), Connie (Larry Tart), Bruce (Connie Sasser) and Douglas Sasser of Goldsboro; her granddaughter Renee Pittman (Chris Pittman); her great grandchildren, Chandler Pittman, Mason Merritt, Reagan Merritt and Brooklyn Merritt; and her siblings, Floyd Barefoot (Carrie) of Raleigh, Gerald Barefoot (Edith) of Roseboro and Iris B. Costen of Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church in honor of Mrs. Sasser and her lifelong devotion to her church family.
