It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gussie Artis (Dunn, North Carolina), who passed away on April 7, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Artis Gaddis of Clayton; her daughter-in-law Laura Artis of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Angel, Laurie, Larry, Jo-Jo, Dexter and Cedric; her sisters, Cora Artis of Four Oaks and Estella Williams of Dunn; and her sister-in-law Lila Bell Ward of Mt. Olive. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
