He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Preddy and Ethel Spell Preddy; and his brothers, James Preddy and Henry Preddy. He is survived by: his son Michael Ray Preddy (Donna) of Erwin; his siblings, Faye Melvin of Hope Mills, Ilena Ezzell of Clinton, Sylvia Wilson (Bobby) of Salemburg and MacDonald Preddy (Louise) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Alisha Lynn Tart (Tim) and Michael Ray Preddy, Jr. (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Noah Ryan Tart and Olivia Tart.
