She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Godwin and Bettie Godwin; her husband Charlie Stewart; her siblings, Carl Lee, Kermit, Gordon, Bobby, Leon Thomas, C. J. Godwin, Dorothy Pope, Betty Moore and Elaine Beasley; and her grandchildren, Johnny and Deana Gregory.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Gregory (John) of Dunn and Diane Horne (James) of Palmetto, GA; her brother Jimmy Godwin (Nancy Cox) of Erwin; her granddaughter Kaye Tyndall (Danny); her great grandchildren, D. J. Tyndall (Kayla), Brittany Atchison (Sam), Adrian Moore, Marshall Moore and Chase Gregory; and her great great grandchildren, Darian Williams, Bowen Tyndall, Indie Atchison and Ace McKoy.
