He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Stewart (Thomas) of Dunn, Larry Ray (Debbie) of Erwin and Janet Johnson (Brent) of Dunn; his grandchildren, Kelli Lee of Dunn, Emily Powell of West Monroe, Griffin Ray Lee (Lindsay) of Wheaton, Gregory Ray (Elizabeth) of Erwin, Katie Spruill (Eli) of Winston Salem, Niki Barnhouse (Billy) of Willow Springs and Casey Johnson (Candace) of Dunn; his great grandchildren, Amara Powell, Mia Powell, Jules Powell, Riley Patterson, Raegan Lee, Griffy Lee, Naomi Ray, Emma Ray, Josiah Ray, Ava Spruill, Zoe Spruill, EttaLane Barnhouse and Will Barnhouse; his great great grandchild Cruz Powell; and his sister-in-law Ann Moore. He is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews.
