She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Myers Ridge; her husband Charlie; her children, Trent Carpenter (Kim) of Dunn, Chrissy Dozier (Howard) of Clayton, Ann Carpenter of Dunn and Christian Crute of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Logan Hawley (Andy) of Dunn, Tyler Carpenter (Corinne) of Dunn and Zoe Crute-Osborne of Asheville; her great grandchildren, Weston Chase Hawley of Dunn and Charleigh Grace Carpenter of Dunn; and her sister Margaret Grier (Brown) of Mt. Sterling. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westfield Baptist Church at 700 North Ashe Avenue in Dunn, North Carolina.
