He is survived by: his children, Christoper McKoy of Dunn, NC, Sonia Brown (Willie) of Fayetteville, NC and Sandra Whitaker Covington of Dunn, NC; and his siblings, Linda Faye Shaw of Lumberton, NC, Elijah Shaw, Jr. (Joyce) of Dunn, NC and Julius Campbell of Dunn, NC. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:55 PM at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel - Dunn (707 E Edgerton St, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
