We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Peggy Jean Barefoot of Dunn, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Addison and Zona Addison; her former husband Donnie Ray Barefoot; her granddaughter Payton Brooke Barefoot; and her brothers, Donald and Phillip Addison.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Barefoot (Nancy) of Dunn, Alan Barefoot of Autryville, Donna B. Johnson (Edward) of Dunn and Susan Barefoot of Dunn; her siblings, Billy Addison (Pamela) of Erwin, Pamela Whittington (Sam) of Erwin and Janice Lucas of Dunn; and her grandchildren, Curtis McKinley (Jessica), Justin Barefoot (Bri), Joshua Barefoot, Ethan Barefoot (Brittanee), Clinton Barefoot, Browning Barefoot (Amy), Dalton Johnson (Laken) and Brett Barefoot (Victoria). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Corinth FWB Church (7920 Autry Mill Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Barefoot Family Cemetery (750 Eldridge Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
