She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Kirby and Dora Tew Kirby; her husband Windley Pope; her sons, Scott Pope and David Pope; and her siblings, Bronnie Kirby, Polly Woyan and Dora Faye Kirby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Canady, Anita Toohey (Joseph) of Calabash and Betty Macavei (Cornel) of Durham; her sisters, Doris Weaver (Garland) of Benson and Frances Cobb (Gary) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Garrett Pope (Kim), Summer Causey, Jared Kirchman, Justin Kirchman, Lindsey Bradshaw (Eric) and Ashley Hill (Troy); and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Riley Pope, Haven Kirchman and Everette Wolf. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
