He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmon A. Hudson and Madie O. Hudson; and his wife Lettie Tew Hudson. He is survived by: his children, Travis Hudson (Ti'Sue) of Sanford, Dwight Hudson of Coats, Robert Hudson (Sharon) of Dunn, Barry Hudson (Julie) of Dunn, Darlene Hudson of Dunn, Arlene Lewis (Tom) of Dunn and Brenda Fisher (John) of Durham. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Mingo Baptist Church, 1465 Mingo Church Rd Dunn, NC 28334.
