He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip J. Nason Sr. and Hazel M. Hewson Shadle; his wife Nancy Rebecca Bond Nason; and his siblings, Albert, Philip Jr., Raymond and Doreen Nason Bushey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Casper (Jim) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Jennifer Gupton (John) of Franklinton, NC; and his grandchildren, Jeff Nason (Dori) of Wilmington, NC., Alex Casper (Melanie), Caleb Nason (Arianna), Anna Casper, Naomi Nason, Lydia Nason, Nathan Gupton and Elijah Gupton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glad Tidings Church (711 Fairground Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Glad Tidings Church or a charity of your choice.
