Sylvia Kay Parker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Kay Parker of Dunn, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Glover and Eva Glover. She is survived by: her husband Robert Parker; her daughters, Sandy Pope (Russell) of Sneads Ferry, NC and Susan Pennington (Kary) of Dunn; her grandson John Aaron Harold (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Peyton of New Bern and Rylee of New Bern; her stepgrandchildren, Emily and Aaron of Coats; and her brother Doug Glover of Dunn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Street United Methodist Church (400 W Divine St, Dunn, NC 28334). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Divine Street United Methodist Church, PO Box 816, Dunn, NC 28335.
