He is survived by: his wife Pamela Lynn of Raleigh, NC; his children, Renee Byrd of Dunn, NC, Letitia Williams of Dunn, NC and William J. Byrd III of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, Tenisha Lynn of Raleigh, NC and Shaqueema Lynn of Raleigh, NC; his brothers, Xavier "Larry" Rakin of Tennessee, Darius Harris of Washington, DC and Derrian Harris of Washington, DC; his aunts, Elder Joyce Ray of Coats, NC and Shelia Parker of Spring Lake, NC; and his uncle Alexander "June" Ray of Linden, NC. He is also survived by nephews, and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM and on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM.
