We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 99, Adna Faye Dennis of Durham, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adna Faye Dennis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas "Doc" Dennis; her parents, Paul Hicks and Hattie Hicks; and her sisters, Polly Hicks Jaber and Mary Lee.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas Dennis (Barbara), Rickey Dennis (Andrea) and Brenda Dennis Cole; and her grandchildren, Michele Dennis Graham (Steve), Kim Dennis (Valerie), Chris Dennis (Julie), Laura Soldevilla (César), Heather Dennis and Blaine Dennis (Mary). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Duke's Chapel United Methodist Church (807 Old Oxford Rd, Durham, NC 27704). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Duke's Chapel United Methodist Church or Transitions LifeCare.
