Alma Ann Strickland Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Ann Strickland of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Walker and Dorothy Walker; her husband William Strickland; her brothers, Johnnie and Charles Walker; and her grandson Chad Hyde.

She is survived by: her children, Sharron S. Parker (Larry Sherlin), Tamra Webster (Ken) and Quincy Strickland (Angela); her siblings, Tom Walker and Bunny Ellis (Doug); her grandchildren, Melissa Westbrook, William Parker (Sam Owens), Lorena Hyde and Wayne Strickland; and her great grandchildren, Mia Parker, Douglas Westbrook, Zach Hyde, Daisy Hyde and Izzy Hyde. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made in Alma's memory to Duke Hospice.
