He is survived by: his wife Dr. Bertha M. Gorham; his son Robert Gorham; his stepchildren, Kevin Cornick (Darnella), Kelley Ravida (Arnold) and Tracey Parker (Michael); his grandchildren, Corey Cornick (Hilina), Gabriella Ravida, Nigel Ravida, Kennedy Cornick, Ian Parker and Noah Parker; his siblings, Lisa Mellerson and Michael Gorham; his foster brother Maurice Sykes; and his siblings' children, Precious Payne and Antoine Payne (Caron).

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baptist Grove Baptist Church (7109 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613).
