It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Bayard Widmark (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorena Widmark and Walter Lee Widmark; and his brother Lee. He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his daughters, Christina Widmark (Matt Marin), Katherine (Michael Markowitz), Leann (Gavin Jocius), Sara (Gray Loeblein) and Rachel (Rob Buchanan); his sister Claire Jennings; his grandchildren, Kerrine, Brian, Claudia, Alivia, Hunter, Owen, Lauren, Lyra, Jett and Nellie; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Brody, Bentley, Parker and Cameron.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army, The First Presbyterian Church, or the Durham Rescue Mission, in honor of Andy's dedication to philanthropic endeavors.
