She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Eric Shepherd and Olive Martin Shepherd; and her husband Rev. Ernest H. Ferrell. She is survived by: her sisters, Mamie Sullivan (Gray) and Jean Bernard (Lance); her daughter Denise Simmons (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Olivia Joyce Simmons and Greyson Daniel Simmons. She is also survived by extended family, but also with her church family.
