He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Saraphis and Lydia Hall Saraphis; his wife Rose Josephine Saraphis; and his sisters, Betty and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, John, Steven, Joanne, Wayne and Kelly; and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Peter, Sarah, Daniel, Abby, David and Ryan.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (1001 Mason Rd, Durham, NC 27712).
