She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Grant Phelps and Pearl Hughes Phelps; her husband James T. Riddick, Jr.; her daughter Priscilla Trotter; and her siblings, Graham, Brinkley Phelps, Garnette Williford, Annie Pearl White and Alma Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" Riddick III (Carol) of Cary and Sherrill Riddick of Durham; her sister Miriam White; her grandchildren, James Riddick IV (Erin), Matthew Riddick (Mary), Steven Trotter, Jr. and Maxim Trotter; and her great grandchildren, Emma Riddick, Harper Riddick and Blair Riddick.
