She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Taylor and Alberta Mitchell Taylor; and her grandson Tavares. She is survived by: her significant other Sebastian; her children, Valeria Taylor-Turner (Stevie), Robert Cannady (Beverly) of Durham and Cornell Lamont Cannady of Durham; her siblings, Luetta Taylor Pitt, Shirley Taylor (Ricky), Irma Ferrell, Leon Taylor and William "Bill" Ferrell (Ida); her former husband Edward Mangum; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Christian, Zhorlond, Zasha, Alexis, Xavier and Elijah. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
