She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Lane and Lois Price Lane; her husband Jerry Matthews; and her siblings, Curtis Lane and Audrey Simpson.

She is survived by: her sons, Ervin Lane (Pete), Pat Rogers Lane of Snow Camp and Thomas Clayton (Tommy) of Newton; her grandchildren, Tammy, Scott Strouth, Jamie, Angie Rogers, Becky Rogers Mullins, Jacob Clayton and Berry Clayton; and her siblings, Glenn Lane of Fayetteville, James David Lane of Fork, Larry Lane of Tiger, Georgia, Phyllis Newman of Summerton, Jean Ivey of Manning, Linda Palmer of Benbrook and Ernestine Adams of Darlington.
