It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Malcom Cooley (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Cooley and Norma Cooley (Glenn); his brothers, Linwood Cooley and Gerald Cooley; and his grandson Kyle Lee Cooley.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor Cooley; his children, Billy Malcom Cooley, Jr. (Milly), Teresa Dianne Cooley Lucas (Buddy), Tammy Cooley, Bonnie Cooley Page (Danny) and Susan Cooley Kinzer; and his sister Sandra Nackab. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
