She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Britt and Mary Phillips Nowell; her husband Patrick W. Dixon; her daughter Sharyn Lynn Duke; her grandson George Wade Jr.; and her siblings, Hilda Pully, Haywood Honeycutt, Belvin Walter, Johnny Britt, JD Britt and Dewey Britt.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick W. Dixon Jr. (Sandra) and Carolyn Dixon; her sister Pauline Bullock; her grandchildren, Catherine Kendrick, Randall Dixon, Anna Watkins and Shannon DeVincent; her great grandchildren, Aaron Watkins, Katelyn Watkins, Madison Watkins, Cameron Kendrick, Sienna DeVincent and Rebecca Dixon; and her great great grandchild Brian Turner.
