He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Coleman and Bonnie Markham McFarling; his sisters, Janie McFarling Pendergrass and Billie McFarling Johnson; and his wife Shirley Blackwood McFarling.
He is survived by: his children, Martin McFarling (Victoria), Margo Knight (Will) and Leanne Minton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
