With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos Abramowsky of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold Abramowsky and Gladys Schaw. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Goldman; his children, Mark Abramowsky, Ariela Eisenbach (Yoni), Michael Abramowsky (Shulamis), Andrea Fishman and Eric Fishman (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Hunter, Aaron, Alex, Avery, Avner, Raffi, Tova, Emanuel, Shimon, Temina, Zahava and Hadassah.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carlos's memory may be made to: Duke Cancer Institute, American Heart Association, Blood Cancer United, or a charity of your choice.
