She is survived by: her siblings, David Black (Grace), Barry Black (Candy) and Beth Cox of Durham; her nieces, Whitney Pennell (Nathan) and Meredith Higgins (Jesse); her great-nephews, Easton, Cameron Pennell and Connor Higgins; her great-niece Emma Higgins; and her close friend Rick Harper.
