She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurshell Halton Keener and Geraldine Fuller Keener. She is survived by: her husband Brian John McMillan; her children, Alexandra Keener North, Carter Davis North, Harrison Fuller North (Carmela Cardama Baez) and Hugh Davis North; her brother Staley Keener; her sister-in-law Kathy Keener; and her nieces, Sarah Keener Moretz, Katherine Keener Nye (Brandon Nye) and Laura Keener Netherland (John Netherland).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (3906 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410).
In lieu of flowers, her family suggest donations to HorsePower Therapeutic Riding Center in Greensboro.
