She was predeceased by: her parents, Linwood Belmont Falkner and Virginia Elizabeth Baker Falkner; and her husband William Francis Brown (Frank). She is survived by: her son Jeff Brown (Jessica); her grandchildren, Ryan Brown and Aaron Brown; her siblings, Frances Daniel, Shirley Hale and Arthur Falkner (Alice); her nieces and nephews, Denise Holmes (Dan), Amy Franklin, Christie Tisinger, Kevin Falkner and Tim Hale; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Evynne Franklin, Isabel Falkner, Elena Falkner, Sarah Tisinger, Ethan Franklin and Ben Tisinger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of her son, Jeff and grandsons, Ryan and Aaron to the Grey Stone Church Children's Ministry, 2601 Hillsborough Rd, Durham, NC 27705, which is where they received a start in their education and love of God.
