She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thomas "Yank" Robertson and Lucy Riggan Robertson; and her husband James Hight Tippett. She is survived by: her children, Michael Tippett (Margie), Michelle Lynn Tippett-Ivey (Freddie) and Amy Sue Tippett; her grandchildren, Lauren Ivey, Dylan Ivey (Melissa), Caleb Ivey, Candace Tippett (Joseph), Sahara Sipple, Michael Sipple and Christopher Sipple; and her great grandchildren, Malayah Perry and Paris Perry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hope Valley Baptist Church (6900 Garrett Rd, Durham, NC 27707). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
