Cathy Fields Carroll Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Fields Carroll (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carol Wilson; her uncle Charles; her aunt Sue Hicks; and her grandmother Ruth Veasey Parrish. She is survived by: her daughters, Alicia Carroll Skoronski (Michael), Amy Elizabeth Carroll and Alexandria Carroll Rimmer (Brandon); her grandchildren, Julia Anne Stewart, Sophie Ruth Skoronski, Lucas Michael Skoronski, Addison Rachel Rimmer and Easton Lionell Rimmer; her siblings, Tim Fields (Debra), Bobbi Walters and Warner Thacker (Angie); and her cousin Robin Malphrus (James). She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Sharon Church Cemetery (1601 New Sharon Church Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to AuthoraCare Collective.
