He is survived by: his wife Lucia Cooke; his sons, Jack Gilmour and Cecil Edwards Cooke III; his grandchild Imagene Cooke; and also, Alan Boyd and Andrew Zimmerman.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Goodson Chapel (407 Chapel Dr, Durham, NC 27701).
