He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Kinchen and Eva Mae Cashwell Barnes; and his brother Kinchen Walton Barnes. He is survived by: his brother Gene Barnes (Bonnie) of Rockingham, NC; and his sister-in-law Janet Barnes of Stedman, NC. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
