He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carson Hockaday and Mary Etta Creech Hockaday; his wife Vera Christine Chisenhall Hockaday; and his daughter Judy Gail Hockaday. He is survived by: his daughter Erma Jean Hockaday Fields (Dennis Albert Fields); and his grandson Dennis Michael Fields.
