He is survived by: his children, Crystal Freeman, Shalonda Farrington, Evika Gattis and Clyde Gattis Jr.; his sisters, Kay Gattis and Anna Gattis; his grandchildren, Arasia, Kaaliyah, Kailyn, Aiden, Ashton, Jayce, Jabriya and Jabri; his great grandchildren, Dakota, Nova, Layla, Mylo and Chosen; his close friend Darlene Campbell; and his son Freemon Eatmon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (113 N Graham St, Chapel Hill, NC 27516). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
