She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Addison and Lillie Mae Martin Addison. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Mello (Walter Woody) and Tealecia Fletcher of Roxboro, NC; her grandson Matthew Mello (Knykoleta) of Crystal River, FL; her great grandchildren, Micaela Mello and Juan-Diego Mello; her beloved baby Biscuit; and her sisters, Irene Green and Lear Willis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ellis D. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel (419 Dowd St, Durham, NC 27701). Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morehead Avenue Baptist Church (1008 Morehead Ave, Durham, NC 27707). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
