With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Corteland Elliot Graham Sr. (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Graham, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Graham; his wife Barbara Forney Graham; his son Corteland Graham, Jr.; his siblings, Alice Graham Thigpen, Sarah E. Graham, Geneva Graham, Audrey Graham Evans, Joseph Graham, Sr. and Sherman Graham; his niece Tyra Rucker; and his nephew Michael Stewart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Graham Allen (Isaac R. Allen), Alicia M. Graham of Durham, NC, Amelia Graham Long of Durham, NC, Kerry A. Long of Durham, NC and Kiara Graham Carrington (Tony Carrington) of Durham, NC; his sister-in-law Patricia Forney Stewart (Garland Stewart) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Kerry Jr., Sean, Christian, Sierra, Selena and David Long; his nieces, Garlinda Stewart Price, Patrice Stewart Carter, Bernadette Millings, Vanessa Fisher and Quinita Olgetree; and his nephew Ronald Graham. He is also survived by loving friends and family.
