She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woody Gates and Lena Rhew Gates; her husband Ervin Samuel Aiken; her brother Philip Gates; her son-in-law Bobby R. Roberts; and her daughter Florence A. Roberts (Bobby R. Roberts).

She is survived by: her son Lynn E. Aiken (Mary P. Aiken) of Yorktown, VA; her granddaughter Mary Lynn Aiken Wilhite (Jason); her great grandchild Charlotte Lynn Wilhite; her friend Daffy; Valinda R. Hicks, Robbie Hicks (Jessica), Jeanna Danque (Brian) and Barbara J. Roberts of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
