It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dalton Christopher Gray of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Steven Gray and Dawn Gray; his significant other Maria Cassas; his sisters, Jennifer Keister and Melissa Johnson; his brother-in-law JD Keister; and his nieces and nephews, Grayson, Addy, Livy, Holden, Aiden, Liam and Shylynn.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to The North Carolina Zoo Society in Dalton's honor.
