He was predeceased by : his father Doug Locklear. He is survived by : his mother Judy Locklear; his siblings, David Locklear (Wendy), Waylon Locklear (Rachel), Julie Stevens (Tim) and Cherlyn Keown (Duane); his aunt Becky Walker; his uncle Mickey Locklear; and his close friend Pat Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, one great niece.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (2107 Liberty St, Durham, NC 27703).
