He is survived by: his wife Susan Lee Greenfield of Durham; his mother Sue Colvin of Chapel Hill, NC; his siblings, Jeff Colvin of Las Vegas, NV, John Trevor Colvin of Chapel Hill, NC and Diane Colvin of Chicago, IL; and his goddaughter Jackie Colvin Maguire of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
