With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Hanson of Durham, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Hale Hanson and Fred William Hanson; and his siblings, Howard Hanson, Sr. and Kathleen Wise. He is survived by: his nephews, Patrick Hanson and Howard Hanson, Jr.; his niece Shannon; his close friends, Ted Timmerman (Jennifer) and Jairo Amaya (Susana); and his pet Brodie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home & Cremation (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Duke Children's Hospital.
