He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Parker and Lena Joyner; his siblings, Nathaniel Parker, Maurice Parker and Lois Gaitwood; his wife Elizabeth Parker; his daughters, Davida Trumbo and Toni Atkinson (Darryl Atkinson); his grandchildren, Darlie Atkinson-Hugill (Eric Hugill), Nina Trumbo and Matthew Trumbo; his great grandchildren, Karielle Atkinson and Kohlton Hugill; and his nieces and nephews, Leo Parker, Alan Parker, Shari Anderson, Bucky Whittle, Audrey Whittle-Ringgold, Chris Gaitwood, Joanne Gaitwood, Corliss Gaitwood and Andrea Harris.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings with family and friends.

Many people remember him as a role model and inspiration, and his contributions to the community will never be forgotten.
