With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deann Maness Stone (Durham, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Maness and Jeanette Maness; her husband Sylvester Stone Jr.; and her former husband Asher Anthony (Father). She is survived by: her son Joey Anthony (Kristen); her stepsons, Mark Chappell and Robbie Chappell; her sisters, Maria Maness Bell (Ramon) and Jane Maness Kerr; her niece Natalie B. Rempe (Scott); her nephew Mitchell Bell (Angela); her great-nieces, Ashten Rempe, Addison Bell and Ashleigh Bell; and her great-nephew Kyle Rempe.
