She was predeceased by: her parents, Cooper Malcolm Black and Doris Rembert Black. She is survived by: her husband William Conner Belvin; her siblings, Mark Black (Cheri), Malcolm Black (Paula) and Jean Carden (Bill); her daughters, McKenzie Schalla (James) and Cassidy Foushee (Will); her grandchildren, James Schalla IV, Abigail Schalla, Lyla Schalla, Weston Schalla, Emory Foushee and Liam Foushee; her cousin Vonda Cecil; and her pet Scout.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crosslink Church (600 Cornelius St, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
