He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Arden Stewart Woody and Charles Erwin Woody; and his brother David Woody. He is survived by: his wife Whitney Pond Woody; his son Hunter S. Woody; his stepchildren, Kelly Sullivan (John) and Jordan R. Young (Erika); his grandchild Avery Young; his siblings, Jeff Woody and Denise Cooke (Ed); and his sister-in-law Anna Woody. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
