With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Shoaf (Durham, North Carolina), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis C. Steedman and Madge Cunningham Steedman; her husband Nick; her grandson Ryan Shoaf; and her son-in-law Randy Currin.
She is survived by: her sister Norma Steedman Dellinger; her children, Sandra Shoaf Currin, Dr. Sarah Shoaf (Alan Miller), Richard Shoaf (Kathy) and Robert Shoaf; her grandchildren, David Currin (Dawn), Wesley Shoaf (Becky) and Amanda Shoaf Morrison (Sean); her great grandchildren, William, Piper, Augustus and Wallace Shoaf; her niece Kelly Dellinger Rice (Roger); and her nephew Stanley Dellinger (Margaret). She is also survived by cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews.
